As I meet new marketers inside of MLSP (my lead system pro), I find a few misconceptions:
- Thinking that MLSP will generate you leads
- MLSP is a magic bullet
- I’m going to generate tons of leads now
1. Does MLSP generate you leads?
My lead system pro itself doesn’t generate you leads. For whatever reason, new marketers believe it will. MLSP will train you and give you the knowledge to begin generating leads on your own. Do they help you generate leads? They do, but think of it this way: they give you the tools and you still have to go out and take action.
Taking action is where all the money is. Simply knowing something doesn’t get you results. MLSP empowers you with capture pages, split testing, and internet marketing training. You then have to take your capture pages and drive traffic to them. MLSP won’t drive traffic to your capture pages for you.
2. MLSP is the ‘magic bullet’?
There is no such thing as a magic bullet. New marketers believe there is one and they’ll always be disappointed. No one wants to hear that to be successful you have to work. There are only a few things you need to be successful: work ethic, knowledge, and proper mindset. I can relate to this magic bullet situation and here’s the advice I have for you: Become knowledgeable and then take action on your knowledge. The reason I can relate is because I’m a big picture kind of guy. I have to know A-Z before I can take action.
3. I’m going to generate tons of leads right now
New MLSP marketers have ambition, drive and enthusiasm. They don’t know it yet, but they’re embarking on a new adventure that has a steep learning curve. I say that because there are many aspects to an online business that they have to learn about. For starters, they need to:
- establish a readership/get a fan base/followers
- master a strategy for driving traffic
- build an email list
It took me 7 months to get to where I am at now. My business generates 1-2 leads every single day. My goal for this month is to get to 5 leads a day. I have had days where I’ve generated 100 leads or more.
