Attraction Marketing: This term was made popular among network marketers by Mike Dillard, the author of Magnetic Sponsoring. To make this as simple as possible, attraction marketing is the process used to generate leads online. It solves the fundamental problems of a network marketer: no leads and no sales. If you generate leads, then you’ll have more people to share your business opportunity with. Additionally, attraction marketing teaches you methods and techniques for creating income from other sources.
Some of those other income sources come from being an affiliate for all the things needed to begin attracting new prospects to you. These include:
- Domains
- Hosting
- E-mail marketing
- and, hundreds of other tools
The 411 & Truth about Attraction Marketing: I’m known for my honesty online. While this whole concept sounds phenomenal, there are a few things you should know. Before you can even begin attracting prospects, you have to invest money to get set up. Most attraction marketers build a brand by building a website. There are lots of costs involved with that. Even if you try to save a dollar here and there.
Some of the costs associated here are one time, while others are monthly fees. For example: email marketing, which is key to following up with your leads and turning them into new customers, costs $20 a month. Some networkers would like to start this whole process but get overwhelmed by the costs involved. My recommendation is that you get one thing at a time, as your budget allows.
One final point – the learning curve. Success is a process. It’s no different here. You have a lot to learn. It is easy to get distracted, but if you put forth the effort and take action every single day, you’ll be making money within 6 months. Some take longer until they find their groove.
